We went back to Simon and Maria's, and I hurried to change and make my way to the Savoy Ball soundcheck. It was very exciting to travel alone to Battlesea, walking alone with my backpack on my front and my violin strapped to my back. I felt like I was an immigrant, new to a country, and very excited.
